Charles County Chamber of Commerce Announces Third Annual SoMD Savor the Flavor, Oct. 25th

(NEWBURG, MD – October 14, 2026) — The Charles County Chamber of Commerce invites the community to enjoy a memorable fall Sunday at the 2026 SoMD Savor the Flavor, taking place Sunday, October 25, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Weatherly Pavilion in Newburg.

Now in its third year since being rebranded from Bounty of the County, SoMD Savor the Flavor has become one of the Chamber’s largest annual celebrations. The event brings together Southern Maryland farmers, restaurants, and local businesses for an unforgettable farm-to-table experience highlighting the region’s agricultural bounty, culinary talent, and strong sense of community.

Guests can sample locally inspired dishes from participating restaurants and learn more about the farms and producers that help Southern Maryland’s food scene thrive. The event also gives local businesses a chance to showcase their products, connect with new customers, and build valuable relationships.

In addition to exceptional food and drinks, the 2026 event will feature a cigar lounge, a live band, a Sunday football game, VIP-exclusive tastings, professional sunset photography, and western-themed photo opportunities. Guests can also enter the Yeti Full of Cheer raffle for a chance to win a coveted prize package.

With waterfront views, live entertainment, local flavors, and a welcoming western theme, SoMD Savor the Flavor offers the perfect way to spend a fall Sunday. Guests are encouraged to wear cowboy boots and hats; boots and brims are welcome.
