(BALTIMORE – April 20, 2026) — Baltimore fight fans, mark your calendars. Professional boxing is returning to downtown Baltimore on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor, in what organizers describe as a major step toward reactivating the city’s live sports and entertainment ecosystem.

The Baltimore Hotel Corporation, in partnership with the City of Baltimore and the Maryland State Athletic Commission, is bringing the marquee event to the city through a partnership with Jeter Promotions. Timed with Autism Awareness Month, the fight night aims to pair high-level competition with community impact while helping position the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor as a premier regional hub for combat sports and major live events.

Kevin Seawright, spokesperson for the Baltimore Hotel Corporation, made the broader vision clear.

“Bringing professional boxing back to downtown Baltimore is a deliberate step in our broader effort to reactivate the city’s hospitality and events economy,” Seawright said. “As a subsidiary of the Baltimore Development Corporation, the Baltimore Hotel Corporation is focused on leveraging world-class venues like the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor to attract high-impact events that drive visitation, support local businesses, and showcase Baltimore’s momentum.”

The April 25 card features Maryland’s own Deric “Scooter” Davis, promoted by Top Rank, whose hometown following is expected to energize the crowd. Also on the card is Tyler Langer, widely known as the “John Wayne Autism Dad,” whose presence underscores the event’s connection to autism awareness and advocacy.

Johnston “Jay” Brown, Executive Director of the Maryland State Athletic Commission, expressed strong support for the event.

The woman behind the promotion is Christen Jeter, founder and owner of Jeter Promotions, a Maryland-based, women-owned boxing promotion company. Jeter has owned and operated a fitness center and boxing program for 18 years and continues to expand the company’s footprint through professional fight promotions and athlete development.

“Jeter Promotions is proud to produce quality, professional boxing events that showcase rising talent and celebrate the sport at its best,” Jeter said. “We are proud to work alongside the Baltimore Hotel Corporation, the City, and the State to help bring high-quality boxing back to Baltimore fight fans.”

The April 25 event is expected to draw regional fight fans, generate economic activity for downtown businesses, and reinforce Baltimore’s position as a competitive mid-Atlantic destination for live sporting events, while also elevating awareness around autism and family advocacy.

Additional fight card details, ticket information, and media credentials are expected in the coming weeks.
