SHINA PARKER: Gone Too Soon
Shina Parker, CEO, Integrity Title & Escrow

(OWINGS MILLS, MD – June 10, 2026) – These are the toughest stories to write—about people you have known for decades. One day, you realize you haven’t checked in, and then, unexpectedly, you see the news on Facebook. Your heart drops. You pause. And then it hits you all at once: she got her wings.

That was my Sunday morning.

I couldn’t believe it. The memories came rushing back—lessons she taught me, words she spoke over me, the life she insisted was possible if I simply kept the faith. Shina Parker was a Godly woman who lived by the Word. I remember her annual events—always done with class and dignity. She set the gold standard for bringing people together.

Everything about her was intentional. Well planned. Meticulous attention to detail. Simple, yet sophisticated. Always classy. I never saw her out of character, never out of pocket, never acting the fool. She was a lady—and she commanded respect. In a male-dominated business world, she understood the importance of having a covering, of standing firm, of knowing who she was.

Her expertise was land—real estate, property, ownership. Shina understood America, especially its capitalistic framework, as well as anyone. She knew the opportunities, but also the games, manipulation, trickery, and usury that often come with real estate and banking. And she stood on business. She spoke up for herself—clearly, confidently. I admired that.

And yes, she had her own radio show on WOLB 1010 AM. In media, we don’t have nearly enough women with that kind of voice and presence. As a father and grandfather of daughters, I believe deeply in the strength of women—their right to be heard, seen, and respected. Shina embodied that. She was not to be silenced.

From all I saw, she built her life and her business on faith—on God and His Word.

Shina Parker was a unifier. A champion of Black business. A friend. A mother. A source of wisdom in difficult times—always ready with a word of encouragement.

So long, Shina.

I’ll see you on the other side.
