“Business networking at its finest!”

April 26, 2023, 6 to 8 pm

Olde Towne Inn, Upper Marlboro

RSVP to https://bwsprincegeorges.eventbrite.com

In 2011, we created the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Award where we celebrate Black entrepreneurs and professionals as well as the people who support them regardless of race. To date, we have honored over 2,000 individuals in New York, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Richmond, Atlanta, New Orleans, Birmingham, Las Vegas, and Tulsa.

Our aim is to help preserve little-known Black Wall Street history nationally and to inspire entrepreneurship, beginning in the Black community. We know that the stronger these businesses become, the better able they are to hire people from our community.

This has been a monumental task, and the rewards are powerful. Considering that Black America has $1.6 trillion in annual disposable income, we already have the power to transform our own trajectory.

Honorees include:

Julie Rodgers

Dr. Laura Dorsey

Taylor Thomas

Dwayne Sims

Delegate Darryl Barnes

John Smith

Charlene Day

Cheryl Wood

James Page

Laurel Councilman Martin Mitchell

Dr. Wilbert Wilson

Alexis Taylor

Ken Rochon

Al Hagler

Former Federal Judge Alexander Williams

Former State Senator Tommie Broadwater

Nita Berger

Alvin Biagas

Larry Freelow &

Perry Hugee.
