Black Wall Street Summit to Feature Regional Economic Development Panel at 1 pm
RICKY D. SMITH is Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer, Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Aviation Administration (MDOT MAA). His next assignment is running the busiest airport in the world.

(BALTIMORE – January 3, 2025) – Be sure to attend the Black Wall Street New Year EMPOWERMENT SUMMIT on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Sankofa Children’s Museum of African Cultures at 4330 Pimlico Rd. This will be an inspiring event filled with workshops, speakers, networking opportunities, and, of course, the coveted Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards. This event is presented by BMORENews.com, the West North Avenue Development Authority (WNADA), and Fulton Bank.1 pm Panel Discussion: Regional Economic Development,Ricky Smith (Moderator/CEO of BWI-Thurgood Marshall Airport)

Panelists include Dr. Tyrone Taborn (STEM CITY USA), Dewan Clayborn (Central MD Chamber), Sen. Antonio Hayes (MD General Assembly), Michael Haynie (MD Hospitality Training), Dave Green (Greater Baltimore Planning), Chad Williams (WNADA).
