Who is Sydney?

Sydney Raine Johnson is an 8th-grade student at Builder’s Academy, her family’s homeschool program. She has been an entrepreneur since she was 5 years old when she sold her family members jars of candy called Sydney’s Sweets. She works with her family’s business, Sydney’s Suds Laundry Service. She started working there at 11 years old, assisting with organizing and processing orders and helping maintain the machines and the facility. Now that Sydney is preparing for high school, she has decided that she wants to be an entrepreneur full-time once she has completed her coursework.

She plans to open her own café; she is currently in the research and planning phase and intends to seek an internship this summer to get hands-on experience in the business. In her free time, Sydney enjoys playing the Viola and being the Co-captain of Agility Network’s VEX robotics team, Team Scorpion. She also enjoys making bracelets, writing, and playing video games with her friends.
