(BALTIMORE – August 13, 2026) – Delray Wylie Jr. and Delray Wylie Sr. are inviting Baltimore residents, businesses, and community organizations to support “The Walk This Way Shoe Drive,” a citywide effort to collect shoes for people in need.
The organizers are accepting new and gently worn shoes in all sizes and styles. From children’s sneakers and school shoes to adult footwear, every donation can help ensure that someone in the Baltimore community has a dependable pair of shoes.
The shoe drive will take place Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donations may be dropped off in the 600 block of North Gilmor Street in Baltimore, Maryland 21217.
The Wylies are working alongside several Baltimore businesses, nonprofit organizations, and community partners to make the drive a success. Residents are encouraged to donate shoes, share the event information and help spread the word throughout the city.
