(BALTIMORE – September 6, 2022) – This week, Maryland Public Television (MPT) will spotlight HBCUs, including Coppin State University, during their HBCU Week programming. State Circle Special: Innovative Programs at Maryland’s HBCUs will highlight the Online Early Childhood Education Human Development Program. Reporter Nancy Yamada spoke to Wyletta Gamble-Lomax, Ph.D. and Dean Leontye L. Lewis about the program, Coppin’s commitment to training the next generation of educators, and how online access is transforming the student experience.
