Honoree: Emanuel J. Stanley, 33°

(BALTIMORE – April 1, 2026) – Emanuel J. Stanley, 33°, has built a life defined by service — to his country, his community, and a centuries-old tradition of Black excellence, brotherhood, and civic responsibility.

As the 26th Most Worshipful Grand Master of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons of Maryland and Its Jurisdiction, Inc., Stanley served as chief executive officer of one of Maryland’s most historic and influential fraternal institutions, overseeing thousands of members statewide with international affiliations.

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at 8128 Liberty Road, Stanley will be honored at Black Wall Street MILFORD MILL 2.0 — a gathering spotlighting the entrepreneurs and professionals shaping the economic future of Northwest Baltimore County.

His leadership carried forward a legacy rooted in 1825 and the vision of Prince Hall — an institution long committed to education, empowerment, and equality in Black communities.

Under his tenure, the Maryland Grand Lodge expanded scholarships for college-bound students, strengthened community-based initiatives, and continued oversight of lodges and Eastern Star chapters statewide. His leadership was grounded in organizational pride, professional excellence, leadership development, accountability, and service.

A signature contribution was his connection to the Thurgood Marshall Black History Month Celebration at Morgan State University Murphy Fine Arts Center — a flagship event honoring African American achievement through the Golden Trowel Awards and reflecting his commitment to legacy and future generations.

A trusted voice across Maryland, Stanley’s counsel has been sought by elected officials, business leaders, and community organizations alike.

A proud veteran of the United States Armed Forces, he brings a disciplined, mission-driven approach to leadership.

He is married to Cherice Y. Stanley, and together they are the proud parents of Joshua, Jasmin, and Channelle. The family resides in Baltimore City, where they remain deeply engaged in community and civic life.

Emanuel J. Stanley, 33°, is not simply a Past Grand Master — he is a builder of institutions, leaders, and community. Black Wall Street MILFORD MILL 2.0 proudly honors his extraordinary life of service.
