(NEW YORK – April 1, 2026) – Edward Harrison knows the criminal justice system not as an observer — but as someone who lived it for over four decades. A formerly incarcerated person who spent more than 40 years navigating in and out of the prison system, Edward Harrison carries a truth that no policy paper, no commission report, and no government study can replicate: the truth of a man who was there.

What Edward witnessed inside those walls would shake the conscience of any taxpaying citizen — a system where the very people funded to serve as watchdogs became the wrongdoers themselves. He saw corruption dressed in authority. He saw accountability replaced by impunity. And he survived it all.

But Edward Harrison didn’t just survive. He came back to give.

Today, Edward stands as a living testament to resilience, redemption, and the power of community. His presence at Black Wall Street CHELSEA is not just an honor — it is a statement. That the formerly incarcerated are not defined by their past, but empowered by their purpose. That their voices belong in every room where justice is discussed. And that the most credible advocates for change are often those who paid the highest price for the system’s failures.

In his own words: “I’m here to give back and appreciate everyone involved in giving back.”

That is the spirit of Black Wall Street. And that is Edward Harrison.
