(BALTIMORE – October 5, 2022) – Today, the Scott Administration shared findings from a comprehensive study of work overseen by the Baltimore City Minority and Women’s Business Opportunity Office (MWBOO). The study, conducted by Tampa, FL-based MGT Consulting Group, found that past discrimination in the City’s contracting process by prime contractors against minority and women’s business enterprises has resulted in significant underutilization of minority and women’s business enterprises in contracts awarded by the City of Baltimore.
