(BALTIMORE – December 5, 2024)—Be sure to RSVP for BMORENews.com’s Black Wall Street SOIREE, our annual fundraiser to support our Joe Manns Black Wall Street initiative, on Thursday, December 5, 2024 (6 to 9 pm) at the Downtown Cultural Arts Center at 401 N. Howard Street.

As always, the event will feature the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards, where we celebrate Black entrepreneurs and professionals as well as the people who support them regardless of race.

Honorees will include Varney “Trey” Richardson.

Who is Trey?

Varney “Trey” Richardson is a self-employed entrepreneur, visionary leader, and dedicated advocate for people. As the founder and CEO of Treyway Multi Treatment Services, Trey has built a full-service behavioral health organization specializing in trauma-responsive care for marginalized and underrepresented populations. His agency serves young adults aged 18 to 30, couples, families with children, returning citizens, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community through innovative initiatives such as REMIX, Family Over Everything, Step Out and Recover (SOAR), and ALLY HOUSE.
Under Trey’s leadership, Treyway Multi Treatment Services operates across three locations, with 15 residential settings and a team of over 50 dedicated staff members. The organization provides a wide range of services, including intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization programs (PHP), and the newly launched THRIVE, a psychiatric rehabilitation program based in East Baltimore City.
Trey holds a master’s degree in Criminal Justice and is pursuing his Alcohol and Drug Counselor Trainee (ADT) certification, ensuring his approach remains multifaceted and comprehensive. His commitment to delivering “quality over quantity” has fostered a family-like atmosphere where clients feel seen, heard, and valued.
A trendsetter and beacon of hope, Trey’s innovative programs aim to create lasting change in the lives of those he serves. With Treyway Multi Treatment Services, he seeks to establish his organization as the most sought-after treatment provider in the region, offering compassionate care that empowers individuals and communities to thrive.
Trey’s motto is not just a philosophy but a way of life: “Quality over Quantity.” He is just beginning to make his mark, and his journey is one of inspiration and transformation.
