As tradition holds, the centerpiece of the event will be the prestigious Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards, honoring trailblazers who are making meaningful impact in their industries and communities.

Since 2011, BMORENews and its partners have recognized more than 2,900 leaders across 9 U.S. cities for their contributions to Black entrepreneurship and economic empowerment. This year, we’re excited to expand that legacy with the debut of the Black Wall Street Youth Awards — a new initiative designed to uplift and showcase the rising generation of Black changemakers, visionaries, and future business leaders.
Honorees include Patrice Green.
Who is Patrice?
Patrice Green, founder and owner of Extended Life Services, has been dedicated to healthcare and helping others since 1999. Her journey began after witnessing the compassionate care her grandmother received in her final years — an experience that inspired Patrice to become a Nursing Assistant and devote her career to making a meaningful impact on people’s lives.
Over the years, Patrice advanced through the healthcare field, combining education with hands-on experience in nursing homes, private residences, and hospitals. Eventually earning her certification as a Medical Assistant, she served in community clinics, private practices, and school-based health centers — where she discovered her passion for teaching.
After seeing several school and community emergencies where bystanders didn’t know how to respond, Patrice recognized the urgent need for life-saving education. Drawing on her extensive training and real-world experience, she founded Extended Life Services to empower others with the confidence and skills to act decisively in critical moments.
