(BALTIMORE – April 14, 2025) – Don’t miss the next BMORENews business networking event: Black Wall Street TWENTY-FIFTH STREET, happening Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Terra Cafe Bmore (101 E. 25th Street, Baltimore).

Part of the ORIGINAL Black Wall Street SERIES, this gathering features the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards, which honor Black entrepreneurs and professionals—as well as their allies of all backgrounds—who are making a positive impact.

The mission is simple but powerful: to promote and celebrate entrepreneurship, starting with the Black community.

RSVP today and be part of the movement! Go to BlackWallStreetTWENTYFIFTHSTREET.eventbrite.com.

Honorees include Leroy Wilson.

Who is Leroy?

Leroy Wilson is a dedicated community organizer, proud father, and seasoned professional with over 27 years of experience as a copier technician. A 1983 graduate of Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and an alumnus of Computer Tech Institute, Leroy has combined technical skill with a passion for service throughout his life.

As a single father, Leroy raised his now 31-year-old son, LeVar, with love, discipline, and integrity. His heart for mentorship and community upliftment was most evident during his five-year leadership of the Mantle Mentoring Ministry at Empowerment Temple, where he guided young men in faith, character development, and life skills.

Leroy is known throughout his community as a humble servant of God, always willing to lend a helping hand and uplift those around him. His life reflects a deep commitment to faith, family, and community empowerment.
