BMORENews.com Presents the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards at Coppin State University
Un helping us!

(BALTIMORE – November 3, 2025) — BMORENews.com is proud to announce the distinguished honorees for Black Wall Street: NEW BALTIMORE, an evening dedicated to celebrating excellence, entrepreneurship, and community impact. The event will be held at Coppin State University, continuing a long tradition of recognizing leaders who uplift and empower the Black community.

Since its inception in 2011, the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards have honored over 3,000 entrepreneurs and community champions across nine U.S. cities. Inspired by the spirit of Tulsa’s original Black Wall Street, these awards highlight individuals and organizations who embody economic independence, innovation, and collective progress.

This year’s Black Wall Street NEW BALTIMORE honorees include:

Dr. Warren Hayman • Joseph Haskins, Jr. • Dr. Ray Winbush • Tina Kelly • Mafia Shakur • Patrice Green • Hassan Giordano • Laura Johnson • Tarika Boyd • Edward Johnson, Jr. • George White • Kimberly Lancaster • Raven LaPrade • Makaelah Jones • Dionne Beverly • Aliah Wood • Daryl Johnson • Paul Winfield • James Dingle • Glen Griffin • Dr. Mary Owens-Southall • Elise Collier • Florine Camphor • Daphine Thomas • Kimberly Nelson

These honorees represent a cross-section of leadership in education, business, media, health, and social impact — each contributing to the evolving narrative of “New Baltimore.”

Special Thanks:
BMORENews.com extends gratitude to our community partners Elev8 Baltimore, John Bugg State Farm Insurance, and Maryland Hospitality Training for their continued support and commitment to celebrating excellence in our city.
