8,000 Stories You Won’t Find Anywhere Else: The BMORENews YouTube Archive

(BALTIMORE – November 18, 2025) – 8,000 Videos Strong!

From East Baltimore to the Middle East to East Africa, BMORENews.com has been delivering “the news before the news” for 23 years.

As we approach our 23rd Anniversary Benefit on December 4th, we want you to see what we’ve built—8,000 unique stories you won’t find anywhere else.

Our Beat:

Business. Politics. Community.

City Hall. Annapolis. The White House.

Education. Mass incarceration. Black-owned businesses. Affordable housing. Universal access to health care.

That’s been the agenda from the outset.

Digital Natives, Not Digital Immigrants:

We’re smaller than the legacy newspapers that call Baltimore home—the Afro American and the Baltimore Times—but we’re effective.

Unlike those giants, we are digital natives. That means we’ve built an institution online for over two decades, creating one of the most unique and historic digital archives in the nation.

Our YouTube library is approaching 8,000 videos—a historical record of this region featuring some of the most dynamic women and men ever born.

The Voices We’ve Captured:

Dick Gregory. Comedian, activist, truth-teller.

DC Mayor for Life Marion Barry. A giant who stood on business.

Arnold Jolivet. Legacy builder.

Ella White Campbell. Community pillar.

Dr. Anne O. Emery. Educator, visionary.

And thousands more—entrepreneurs, activists, pastors, politicians, educators, organizers—voices that shaped Black Baltimore and beyond.

The Places We’ve Been:

Tanzania? Yep. Interviewed exiled Black Panther Pete O’Neal while building orphanages with Global Vessels.

New Orleans? No question.

White House? Mm-hmm. Big ups to Pres. Obama for the access!

Atlanta? New York? Upstate? All of it.

From East Baltimore to East Africa, we’ve been there—documenting, reporting, preserving history.

Why This Matters:

Most media outlets cover the headlines. We cover the people behind the movements.

Most archives disappear when funding dries up. We’ve built ours to last.

Most journalists parachute in. We’ve been here for 23 years—and we’re not going anywhere.

8,000 Videos. 23 Years. One Mission:

To tell the stories others won’t tell. To preserve the voices others don’t amplify. To document the history others ignore.
