SPECIAL EDITION: 4x Author Kevin Shird on the Emmy-nominated Doni Glover Show, 1.15.25 (12 pm)
Kevin Shird

(BALTIMORE – January 14, 2025) – On the next edition of the Emmy-nominated Doni Glover Show on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 (noon), prepare for another exciting edition hosted by the award-winning BMORENews.com publisher.

Our guest will be Kevin Shird and we’ll discuss his latest book.

A Life for a Life by Kevin Shird

The show streams LIVE (Monday through Friday) at 9 a.m. EST on Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Who is Kevin?

Kevin Shird is a four-time published author, activist, and screenwriter. He has become an expert in using the past to build a better future. Shird began his very unorthodox journey at the tender age of sixteen when he started dealing drugs on the streets of Baltimore. This led to him serving a total of almost twelve years in prison. Since leaving prison, Shird monetized his life lesson by authoring social issue books. He lectures at colleges and universities across America on issues like education, public health policy, and mass incarceration. During his time in the Obama administration, he collaborated with the White House and President Obama’s Clemency Initiative. In 2018, he became an associate at Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Medical Humanities and Social Medicine, where he co-teaches a class on public health. Today, he serves as a co-teacher at Coppin State University.
