2026 Baltimore County Executive Primary: Who Each Democratic Club Endorsed

The Lists Tell a Story: Look at the Lists!

(RANDALLSTOWN – July 3, 2026) – There are times in politics when the documents speak for themselves.

This is one of those times.

During Baltimore County’s 2026 Democratic primary, Democratic clubs across the county endorsed candidates for offices ranging from County Executive to Congress, the Maryland General Assembly, County Council, and countywide offices.

Those endorsements became part of the public record.

For Baltimore County Executive, the Central Baltimore County Democratic Club endorsed Izzy Patoka. The Baltimore County Progressive Democrats Club endorsed Nick Stewart.

The Baltimore County West Democratic Club maintains an Endorsement Committee but has not publicly released its 2026 endorsement list on its website.

Rather than tell readers what these endorsements mean, we are publishing the available documents.

Read them.

Study them.

Examine who each organization chose to support.

Consider the political landscape they reveal.

Political endorsements are part of every election cycle. They reflect the choices made by organizations and the candidates who seek their support. They also become part of the historical record.

As Baltimore County looks back on the 2026 Democratic primary, these documents provide an opportunity to examine the public record for yourself.

Sometimes history is written in speeches.

Sometimes it is written in election returns.

And sometimes …

the lists tell the story.
