Tyrone Taborn stands as the underserved community’s “Chief Information Officer,” a champion for diversity, inclusion, and truth in STEM and technology.

(BALTIMORE – November 26, 2024)—Be sure to RSVP for BMORENews.com’s Black Wall Street SOIREE, our annual fundraiser to support our Joe Manns Black Wall Street initiative, on Thursday, December 5, 2024 (6 to 9 pm) at the Downtown Cultural Arts Center at 401 N. Howard Street.

RSVP to https://blackwallstreetsoiree.eventbrite.com/.

As always, the event will feature the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards, where we celebrate Black entrepreneurs and professionals and the people who support them regardless of race. Alicia Wilson, Esq. will deliver the keynote address, and Dr. Tyrone Taborn will make special remarks.

Alicia and Dr. Taborn have accomplished great things and are influential forces nationally and globally. They have also made a positive impact on BMORENews.com. On that note, meet Dr. Taborn. He leads Career Communications Group, one of the world’s most prominent Black news publishers. He is also known for creating BEYA.

To say the least, Dr. Taborn is a technology pioneer and is heavily engaged in the Metaverse. A prime example is STEMCITYUSA.com. Baltimore is blessed to have him.

Tyrone Taborn: The Underserved Community’s Chief Information Officer in STEM and Technology

Tyrone Taborn stands as the underserved community’s “Chief Information Officer,” a champion for diversity, inclusion, and truth in STEM and technology. For decades, he has been a driving force, ensuring that critical information, resources, and opportunities reach the communities often left behind in the rapidly evolving tech landscape. Through his visionary leadership at Career Communications Group, STEM City USA, and various initiatives, Tyrone has built digital bridges that empower individuals in underrepresented communities, giving them the tools to thrive in high-tech fields.

In every role, Tyrone serves as a powerful advocate for equity in technology. He amplifies voices that are too often marginalized, providing access to STEM education, career pathways, and digital literacy resources that transform lives. His initiatives open doors to future-ready careers, dismantling barriers and enabling communities of color to secure their place in the technological future.

As a voice for diversity, inclusion, and truth, Tyrone ensures that STEM and technology remain accessible to everyone. His work promotes a more inclusive tech ecosystem that reflects the talents and aspirations of all people. Tyrone’s unwavering commitment to empowering underserved communities makes him more than an advocate; he is a visionary CIO on the front lines, dedicated to equipping every individual with the information and confidence to lead and innovate. For Tyrone Taborn, this mission is not just about technology—it’s about empowering communities, fostering opportunity, and building a future where no one is left behind.
