Block Party! It is essential that the GBUL connect with its immediate neighbors, said Ricky Smith, GBUL Chair.

Greater Baltimore Urban League

Vision
To envision a future where every resident thrives and has access to quality education, economic prosperity, and social justice,
creating a resilient and inclusive Baltimore.

Mission
To enable African Americans and other minorities to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power, and civil rights.

Strategy
Our four-pronged strategy for pursuing the mission is:
*Ensuring that our community is well-educated and equipped for economic self-reliance

*Ensuring public policy and discourse are well-informed on the impacts on our community

*Ensuring our civil rights by eradicating all barriers to equal participation in the economic and social mainstream of the Greater
Baltimore Region.

*Ensuring GBUL is managed responsibly, efficiently, and collaboratively, aligning with our community’s needs and interests.
