(BALTIMORE – September 30, 2024) – The next BMORENews.com event is Black Wall Street BLK SWAN, set for Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Blk Swan at 1302 Fleet Street in East Harbor. As always, the event will feature the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards, where we celebrate Black entrepreneurs and professionals as well as the people who support them regardless of race.

To date, BMORENews.com and its partners have honored over 2,700 individuals in 9 major US cities, including New York, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Richmond, Atlanta, New Orleans, Birmingham, Las Vegas, and Tulsa.

Who is Par’ris?

Par’ris D. Rose is a writer, producer, author, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, and domestic violence activist.  She holds a BS degree in Human Resources Management, has advanced training in Business Administration, and is pursuing certification as a Life Coach. Known for her powerful voice in advocacy and the arts, Par’ris continues to inspire and uplift through her creative works and dedication to helping others overcome adversity.
Par’ris D. Rose is also an advocate for domestic violence victims and a rising talent in writing, directing, and producing. Recently, she directed and produced a two-day, three-show, sold-out inspirational musical stage play, Joy Comes In The Morning, in downtown Baltimore. This successful production inspired her newest book, Joy Comes In The Morning (Vision 2020), which was released in September 2024.
Her credits include the trilogy BlueBlack Tears of a Father and Child, Shades of Blue, FREED, co-authorship of Ambitious, and upcoming titles like I Never Prayed for Myself. She has also produced two short films and two TV pilots.
