Actions of a write-in candidate prompted a judge to grant the 86-year-old Congresswoman a restraining order against Debbie Walker
A judge has granted Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson a temporary restraining order against write-In candidate Debbie Walker for her fraudulent election signs. Walker has been using unauthorized photos of the Congresswoman in an effort to trick voters into supporting her.

Haynes III, of Friendship-West Baptist Church, announced 100 Days of Buying Black in acknowledging the 100th Commemoration of the Tulsa Race Massacre, a year ago, we joined the movement. December 31, 2021 marked 100 days of featuring Black Businesses, and we decided that the struggle continues and we must also. So enjoy reading about more Black-owned businesses and please support. Crystal King hails from Albany, GA , graduating from Westover High School and attended Valdosta State University, and graduated from Albany State University before attending UTA, where she received her MBA and a graduate certificate in Asian Business Studies. Currently the National Vice President, Creative at American Heart Association where she was also Multicultural Marketing National Director, she worked as the Sr. Manager of Philanthropy at JCPenney and also enjoyed a stint at Susan G. Komen. A breast cancer survivor, this wife and mother is the CEO and co-founder of The Love Kings. Crystal is a writer, speaker, producer, director and a “super blogger.” Additionally she was a Pink Together Survivor Ambassador for General Mills.

2021 was the “Year of the Woman,” especially the Black Woman! For 10 months we dedicated this space to uplifting Black women and spreading a message that we need to show love and empower people with love instead of destroying them with hate and disrespect. WAKE UP AND STAY WOKE
It’s in their nature like the scorpion

In this campaign season, I am reminded of the fable of the scorpion and the frog. For those unfamiliar, a scorpion asks a frog to carry him across a river on his back. The frog fears being stung, but the scorpion argues that if it did so, both would sink and drown. The frog agrees, but midway the scorpion does indeed sting the frog, dooming them both. Before they drowned, the frog laments the treachery and asks why. The scorpion said, “You know who I am! It’s just in my nature.”
