(NEW YORK – October 15, 2022) – Dr. Tyrone Taborn is a man without limitations. He is extremely knowledgeable, highly motivated, and wonderfully determined to close the digital divide, especially in marginalized communities.
For the last four decades, he has presented and hosted a catalog of events – all designed to highlight Black and brown people making phenomenal strides in science and technology. And women are a part of his agenda, too. This would help explain his Women in Technology Conference held each year. And please do not forget the Black Engineer of the Year Awards that brings out not just engineers – but generals, admirals, fighter pilots, and defense contractors.
Raised in Chicago and Los Angeles with summers in Tulsa on Black Wall Street, Taborn is fully committed to being the change the world needs.
Just recently, he hosted a fundraiser for Maryland’s Democratic nominee for Governor, Wes Moore. To say the least, it was a “Who’s Who” of some of the most accomplished people in the region, including former judge and noted Attorney Billy Murphy and retired Gen. Kip Ward.
