Baltimore, mark your calendars! On Friday, June 27, join us for a one-of-a-kind celebration as BMORENews publisher Doni Glover turns 60—and you’re invited to be part of the legacy.
Fresh off the success of Black Wall Street NOLA, Glover returns home to host a powerful evening dedicated to supporting Black-owned media and honoring the people who shape our communities.
The night kicks off at 7 PM with a VIP Reception in the gallery at Baltimore Unity Hall, featuring the legendary Eric “Rabbit” Rich’s homemade Maryland Crab Soup—a must-have for our VIP guests.
At 8 PM, the Main Event begins, showcasing a soulful culinary experience:
-
World-famous jerk chicken from Tylino’s Caribbean Restaurant
-
Mouthwatering soul food by Georgia Peach and Next Phaze Café
Musically, the evening will be graced by performances from Craig Alston, Baltimore’s own jazz maestro, and rising star Khalil Campbell on violin.
As always, we’ll honor excellence in the community with the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards. This year’s honorees include Michael Cryor and Chief Judge Robert Bell, trailblazers who exemplify Black excellence.
Hosting the night are two dynamic voices: Kelli Redmond-Bagby and John Milton Wesley.
This is more than a birthday—it’s a movement. A moment. A milestone.
