Did you know that the number of Baltimore County Council people is still up in the air? While similar-sized counties like Prince George’s and Montgomery have 11 council members, Baltimore County technically has 7. It was supposed to be raised to 9, but somehow, the process of drawing the new map was not done correctly. In any event, Sharonda Huffman wants one of those new seats and plans to represent her community in Essex.
On the national front, Ken Martin is the new head of the Democratic National Committee.
