First-ever print edition expected by September 24 as BMORENews.com launches its premium section with interviews featuring KSAL Empire and Nicole Earle
(BALTIMORE – September 16, 2025) — We are proud—and deeply grateful—to announce two historic milestones for BMORENews.com.
Our inaugural print edition is officially on the way.
Today is September 16. Within eight days—by Thursday, September 24—we expect to hold the first-ever print edition of BMORENews.com in our hands.
After 24 years of publishing THE NEWS BEFORE THE NEWS, BMORENews.com is moving from the screen to the streets. This inaugural newspaper will let us put our journalism directly into the hands of the people we have always served, beginning right here in Baltimore.
This is more than a newspaper. It is a tangible extension of our mission to document our communities, celebrate our people, and tell the stories too often overlooked by mainstream media.
We extend special thanks to a visionary friend who prefers anonymity, the West North Avenue Development Authority (WNADA), Elev8 Baltimore, and ENOUGH@21217. Their support helped make this inaugural print edition possible. We appreciate their investment in community-centered storytelling and their recognition of the vital role independent Black media plays in Baltimore.
At the same time, BMORENews.com has officially launched its new premium video section.
Our first premium presentation features interviews with social media sensation and entrepreneur KSAL Empire and Baltimore developer and community leader Nicole Earl.
KSAL Empire has built an extraordinary physical and digital presence across multiple operations and has attracted over half a million followers through her personality, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit. Nicole Earle is a developer, the founder of Dominion Community Development Corporation, and the visionary behind Billie’s Promise, a three-floor community empowerment center planned for 1837 Pennsylvania Avenue.
These conversations reflect exactly what BMORENews.com was created to do: introduce our audience to entrepreneurs, visionaries, and community builders shaping the future of Baltimore and beyond.
Together, these two milestones represent more than organizational growth. They demonstrate our willingness to keep learning, evolving, and using technology to strengthen the craft of storytelling.
For 24 years, BMORENews.com has documented the lives, struggles, businesses, leadership, and brilliance of our beautiful melanated people—primarily here in the city of Baltimore.
That mission has not changed.
What has changed is our ability to tell those stories across more platforms and in more powerful ways.
We are entering print while expanding premium digital storytelling. The newspaper will reach people where they live, work, worship, shop, and gather. The premium section will provide direct access to original interviews, conversations, and video content produced by an independent Black-owned media platform.
Neither accomplishment happened overnight.
These milestones reflect persistence, experimentation, sacrifice, faith, and the support of countless people who believe our stories deserve to be told—and that we must have the capacity to tell them ourselves.
We are proud of how far BMORENews.com has come. More than anything, we are grateful for the lessons, the technology, the community, and the opportunity to continue doing this work.
The inaugural print edition of BMORENews.com is coming—with special thanks to WNADA, Elev8 Baltimore, and ENOUGH@21217.
The BMORENews Premium section is live.
We are grateful. We are growing. And we are just getting started.
