(BALTIMORE – August 16, 2022) – August is a very special month for Black-owned business owners and their supporters.

August is #NationalBlackBusinessMonth, created in 2004 by historian John William Templeton and engineer Frederick E. Jordan, Sr. to bring attention to the needs of more than two million Black-owned businesses operating across America.

At BmoreNews.com, supporting Black-owned businesses has been a hallmark of our efforts.

With this in mind, we invite all to join us on Monday, August 22, 2022, from 6 to 8 pm at Darker Than Blue Grille for “Recognizing Black Business Month: Doing Business with the City and State,” a business networking and awards event.
