A Bookish Recap of October 2024

Stephanie M. Henderson, BooksandBounty.com

Books & Bounty TV thumbnail from 10/29 depicting four images in the background: two AI images representing carribbean gothic literature, as well as the Books & Bounty logo and a picture of author De Lisser.I have always been a collector of bookish things–books, button pins, bookmarks, stationary, art. Curating bookish things, people, and events brings me joy. In October, I continued to grow my bookish community, taking the seasonal opportunity to focus on my favorite literary genres—fantasy, science fiction, dark fiction, and most recently, horror—it is spooky season!

Special guests on Books & Bounty TV included a local, West Baltimore author writing Afrofuturism, as well as the founder of The Black Girl’s Horror Guide, a book and cinema club that meets in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. If you were out and about, you may have caught us live streaming from the Baltimore Book Festival and other events from Baltimore and beyond! Read More at BooksandBounty.com.
