(East Orange, New Jersey – January 3, 2025) – Ugoeze Achilike joins BmoreNews as one of the newest members of its White House Correspondent team, and she is also the VP of Operations at Well-Care Nurses, a family-owned home healthcare company providing vital services to seniors and people with disabilities. Raised in New Jersey after her family immigrated from Nigeria, Ugoeze’s entrepreneurial spirit ignited at 15, when she launched her first business and later opened a bakery during the pandemic.

Her passion for international development and sustainability led her to American University, where she earned a BA in International Relations. Ugoeze’s career began at the World Bank Group and later transitioned to an agroforestry non-profit focused on empowering smallholder farmers. A grant from the US Department of Education enabled her to lead a transformative community project, teaching regenerative agriculture and business skills to farmers in her village.

This experience reshaped her perspective and brought her back to Well-Care, where she’s driving growth and innovation. Ugoeze is passionate about shifting the narrative around aging and healthcare, using her development background to create opportunities that transform communities.

As a White House Correspondent for Bmore News, Ugoeze brings her sharp intellect and curiosity to every story. In her free time, she enjoys reading historical and sci-fi novels, working out, and cherishing moments with loved ones.
