(BALTIMORE – October 25, 2025) – BMORENews.com proudly presents the Black Wall Street NEW BALTIMORE — a dynamic celebration of Black excellence in business, entrepreneurship, and community leadership on Thursday, November 6, 2025 (6 pm-8 pm). As tradition holds, the centerpiece of the event will be the prestigious Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards, honoring trailblazers who are making meaningful impact in their industries and communities.

📅 RSVP to blackwallstreetnewbaltimore.eventbrite.com

Since 2011, BMORENews and its partners have recognized more than 2,900 leaders across 9 U.S. cities for their contributions to Black entrepreneurship and economic empowerment. This year, we’re excited to expand that legacy with the debut of the Black Wall Street Youth Awards — a new initiative designed to uplift and showcase the rising generation of Black changemakers, visionaries, and future business leaders.

Honorees include Raven LaPrade.

Who is Raven?

Raven LaPrade

At 24 years old, Raven LaPrade is a dynamic youth entrepreneur and community leader dedicated to empowering the next generation. She is the founder of Overcomers Youth in Motion, an organization that provides activities and services for children ages 0–13, helping them build confidence, faith, and leadership skills.

Raven currently serves as a Teaching Fellow with Baltimore City Public Schools, shaping young minds through education, while also working as a Program Manager and Producer for T.R.I.V.I.A’s Inspirational Broadcast Network, where she creates uplifting, faith-based media that inspires and motivates viewers.

Balancing multiple roles, Raven also works alongside her father in the security field and is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree. She was crowned the 2024–2025 National Christian Miss and now serves as a 2025–2026 DMV Christian Miss Pageant Director, bringing her leadership full circle to empower young women.

Raven LaPrade exemplifies the heart of Black Wall Street—resilient, purpose-driven, and committed to uplifting her community through entrepreneurship, service, and faith.
