Reid CDC

Brought to you by Reid CDC

Reid CDC was birthed from the vision of Reid Temple A.M.E. Church’s Pastor, Dr. Lee P. Washington, for an empowered, At-Large Church and from his passion for the people of God to live holistic prosperous lives.

Reid CDC is a faith-based social entrepreneurship and economic development corporation that serves Prince George’s County and the surrounding metropolitan area. We were established in 1994 and granted tax-exempt status as a 501c (3) organization in 1997.  Under the direction of the organization’s Senior Management, Board of Directors, Advisors, and consultants, Reid CDC has provided training and development services for business owners and the local workforce at the grassroots level for more than 18 years.

In 2010 after many years of prayer, collaborating, negotiating, and fundraising, the organization celebrated the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of its new Community Business Center – Headquartered at 12150 Annapolis Road, Suite 314, in the office condominium complex on Annapolis Road in Glenn Dale, MD.

Reid CDC, partnering with individuals, other community organizations, businesses, churches, and government agencies, has collaborated with others since 2007 to plan, provide funding to acquire, and build out this community business center for the great work that remains to be done in our community.
