Kevin Scott has spent nearly 25 years building the Benedetto brand — from selling garments out of the trunk of his car to curating international fashion lines in downtown Baltimore.

(BALTIMORE – February 28, 2026) – People are still talking about Thursday night in downtown Baltimore. Black Wall Street BENEDETTO brought together an extraordinary cross-section of leadership to celebrate Kevin Scott’s newly refurbished location at 119 W. Mulberry Street. From faith leaders and elected officials to business executives and longtime supporters, the evening reflected the respect and admiration Baltimore holds for one of its most consistent entrepreneurs.

Kevin’s loyal supporters include Catherine Pugh and Arnold Williams.
Kevin Scott (L) recognized supporters, including Leonard Hamm, former Baltimore Police Department Commissioner, Arnold Williams, CPA, former City Council President/Executive Nick Mosby, Chef Jimmy Britton, and architect Dale Glenwood Green.
Robert Harrington. Jimmy Britton, and Rick Banks appreciate Benedetto Haberdashery.
The incomparable Danise Jones Dorsey shows her support for Kevin Scott, one of her favorite people.
Reginald Howard meets Frank Johnson, director of The Doni Glover TV Show.
Scott has great supporters who love him to life, including Gwen Levy (2nd from left). Levy is an advocate for the formerly incarcerated and a huge supporter of BMORENews.com.
Scott shows love for Attorney Warren Brown, Esq., a longtime supporter who expressed his pride for Kevin’s hard-earned success. He said that easily Kevin could have taken a different path to finance his business, but instead did it the right way.
Honoree Nick Mosby is surrounded by family and friends at Benedetto Haberdashery.
Bishop John Bryant spoke life over the event. He said that Kevin has a gifted eye for fashion.
