(BALTIMORE – October 5, 2023) — In a concerted effort to address the pressing issues surrounding public safety, mayoral candidate Sheila Dixon hosted the first in a series of comprehensive town hall meetings on Wednesday, October 4th, bringing together concerned citizens, local leaders, and law enforcement officials. The event, held at New Metropolitan Baptist Church provided an open platform for discussion, analysis, and proactive problem-solving in the pursuit of a safer Baltimore.

The Public Safety Town Hall offered a unique opportunity for community members to engage directly with the mayoral candidate and share their concerns regarding crime, neighborhood safety, and the overall well-being of Baltimore residents.
