(BALTIMORE – July 5, 2025) – It is with great pride and genuine excitement that I share with our BMORENews audience an exclusive interview with one of Baltimore’s most impactful—and perhaps lesser-known—figures: P. David Bramble.

Some may not yet recognize the name, but I’ve known about him for years. He’s the son of Joy and Father Peter Bramble, founders of The Baltimore Times, a newspaper birthed right at their kitchen table on Madison Avenue back in 1986. I cut my teeth in journalism working for both The Baltimore Times and The Afro, and I credit the Bramble family for playing a pivotal role in helping me build my media business. They’ve always been in sync with my vision—and more importantly, they’ve always honored their word.

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Dena Wane, who has carried the Baltimore Times legacy with grace and tenacity. She is nothing short of an angel to this city. Together, the Brambles built a media empire that has touched every corner of Maryland—from the Annapolis Times to The Shore Times, The Prince George’s County Times, and beyond. Their commitment to telling “positive stories about positive people” remains unmatched.

Philosophically, we share the same truth: We are all we got. If change, progress, or salvation is going to come to our communities, it will come from within. And like me, the Brambles are unapologetically pro-business. They understand the language of ROI, markets, taxes, and community reinvestment.

Now enter P. David Bramble, the next generation. A proud graduate of Baltimore City College, Bramble went on to earn his degrees from Princeton and the University of Pennsylvania. Despite his prestigious credentials, he remains grounded in the neighborhoods many of us know well—Pennsylvania Avenue, Liberty Heights, Hampden, Govans. He’s a Baltimore kid, through and through.

Today, David stands at the forefront of one of Baltimore’s most hotly debated topics: the future of Harborplace.

With over 20 years in real estate investment and a background in corporate law, Bramble is the managing partner of MCB Real Estate, a firm with a national portfolio spanning millions of square feet. He could have easily passed on Harborplace—but he didn’t. Because this city matters to him.

His resume is as formidable as it is impressive. He chairs the board of Lendistry, serves on the boards of the Abell Foundation, Johns Hopkins Bayview, The Deutsch Foundation, and more. His reach is national, but his roots are Baltimore.

This Sunday at 5:30 a.m. on WMAR TV-2, I have the honor of sitting down with David Bramble on The Doni Glover Show. It’s an interview that’s been a long time coming.

David is one of the most down-to-earth people you’ll ever meet—but don’t let that fool you. He’s sharp, strategic, and serious about business. He inherited the compassion of his parents, but he’s also carved his own lane—one defined by results, integrity, and vision.

If you’re from Baltimore, you’ll want to tune in. If you care about the future of this city, you can’t afford to miss this.

David Bramble is proof that you can be Black, brilliant, and bold—and build in Baltimore City.
