(BALTIMORE – August 7, 2023) – BMORENews.com and BlackUSA.News publisher Doni Glover will be guest hosting for Dr. Kay for most of this week from 2 to 4 pm on Morgan State University’s own WEAA 88.9 FM.

Glover, the former host of ‘One Mic’ on WEAA, has been a feature on this station since he was 15 in 1980.

“WEAA is home,” said Glover. “People like Charlie Dugger, Mary Carter Smith, Al Stewart, Sandi Mallory, Gary Ellerbe, Dr. Gossie Hudson, Dr. Tyrone Powers, and Jesse McDade Bey have poured their souls into building this ever-critical piece of Black media in Baltimore. So many people gave of their time, including Kweisi Mfume, to create a safe space for Black dialogue. In a 63% Black city like Baltimore, WEAA is highly necessary and greatly appreciated. Many thanks to Robert Shahid and Mike Nyce for this opportunity.”

Glover is the host of the Emmy-nominated Doni Glover Show which airs Monday thru Friday at 9 am on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube. He is also the author of “Unapologetically Black” (2015) and “I Am Black Wall Street” (2021), and the founder of the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards.

He has been a Baltimore-based journalist since 1994.
