Starting 2026 off RIGHT! 🎉

Join us for the Black Wall Street New Year Summit: In Honor of Maggie Lena Walker

(BALTIMORE – December 21, 2025) – In 1903, Maggie Lena Walker became the first African American woman to charter a bank in the United States. Over 120 years later, Black women continue to lead, innovate, and build wealth in their communities. This summit celebrates that legacy—and builds the next generation of entrepreneurs.

📅 Saturday, January 3, 2026
🕙 10 AM – 2 PM
📍 Downtown Cultural Arts Center
401 N. Howard Street, Baltimore, MD 21201

We’re gathering at the Downtown Cultural Arts Center, operated for nearly 15 years by Renny Bass – our 2025 Co-Man of the Year. For a decade and a half, Renny has provided arts and entertainment opportunities for thousands of Baltimoreans right in the heart of the city.

🎤 KEYNOTE ADDRESS: Robyn Murphy, Managing Partner of JRM Consultancy and trailblazing media veteran. With a decades-long career as a television host, reporter, and anchor for NBC, ABC, and BET, Robyn broke barriers as the first female sports reporter at multiple outlets and the first woman sideline reporter for professional sports on Comcast Sports Net. Named a 2020 Leader in Diversity by the Baltimore Business Journal and appointed to Mayor Brandon Scott’s 2020-21 transition team, she brings unparalleled expertise in strategic communications, media, and institutional diversity.
