(BALTIMORE – June 17, 2025) – Reserve your spot today for Doni Glover 6.0: A BMORENews Benefit, set for Friday, June 27, 2025, from 7 to 10 p.m. at Baltimore Unity Hall, 1505 Eutaw Place.

This special evening celebrates Doni Glover’s 60th birthday and the enduring mission of BMORENews. The program will feature the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards, a proud BMORENews tradition since 2011, honoring nearly 3,000 Black entrepreneurs, professionals, and allies across nine major U.S. cities.

Proceeds will support BMORENews’ independent Black media work—including our Emmy-nominated podcast, TV show, and events that uplift Black excellence. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will also benefit the Bea Gaddy Family Center, recognizing its unwavering service to the Baltimore community.

Honorees include Marty Glaze.

Who is Marty?

Glaze Ventures is a premier real estate and consulting firm dedicated to providing innovative and comprehensive property solutions. With expertise spanning real estate investment, development, and asset management, Glaze Ventures offers strategic advisory services to individuals, businesses, and institutional investors. The firm’s focus is on delivering tailored insights that drive growth, optimize profitability, and navigate the complexities of the real estate market.

Founded by Marty, a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience, Glaze Ventures builds on a legacy of success in both construction and real estate development. Prior to launching Glaze Ventures, Marty was the President of Commercial Construction, the largest minority-owned General Contracting Company in Maryland. During his tenure, the company was responsible for some of the state’s most distinguished projects, including the Maryland Live Casino at Arundel Mills, the John J. Rangos Bio Tech Building, and the historic restoration of Morgan State University’s Banneker Hall.

Marty’s leadership was instrumental in guiding his team of over fifty professionals—comprising engineers, managers, and architects—to consistently deliver complex, large-scale projects on time and under budget. His commitment to excellence and innovation continues to be the driving force behind Glaze Ventures.

In addition to his professional achievements, Marty is an active community leader in initiatives such as Sandtown Habitat for Humanity and Rebuilding Together Baltimore. He is also an advocate for education, having contributed to renovating his alma mater’s facilities, including creating a robotics and art laboratory. Marty is an Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated member and has served on the boards of The Eubie Blake National Jazz Institute & Cultural Center and The Living Classrooms Foundation.
