Hill Harper to Host the 28th Women of Color STEM Awards

(BALTIMORE – September 13, 2023) – Renowned actor, author, and activist, Hill Harper, will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for the esteemed 28th Women of Color STEM Awards. This illustrious event will celebrate the outstanding achievements of women in STEM, highlighting their commitment, resilience, and dedication.

Throughout the conference, attendees will witness the powerful stories of diverse women who have triumphed over adversity on their path to success. These personal narratives are essential, providing inspiration and showcasing the limitless potential awaiting women who persist and persevere in their professional pursuits.

A variety of recognition categories have been curated for the awards. While some are peer-reviewed, others are based on commendations from employers. On Friday, the awards ceremony will celebrate exceptional accomplishments in the workplace. The Saturday awards, on the other hand, undergo a rigorous evaluation process by a distinguished panel of peers.

The Women of Color STEM DTX Conference’s award system is more than just a ceremonial recognition. It stands as a symbol of success, reflecting acknowledgment from both superiors and peers. The intent is clear: to motivate and inspire women to keep pushing boundaries in the STEM fields.

    Date: Thursday, October 12
    Time: 3:00 – 5:00 PM EST
  • Leaders and Legends Recognition Event
    Date: Saturday, October 14
    Time: 8:00 – 9:45 AM EST
  • Women of Color Awards Ceremony
    Date: Saturday, October 14
    Time: 7:00 – 9:30 PM EST

The Women of Color STEM DTX Conference encourages attendees, participants, and the general public to join these events, ensuring they witness the groundbreaking achievements of these exceptional women in STEM.
