(SPARROWS POINT, MD – March 2026) — BMORENews.com continues its celebration of Black enterprise and community with Black Wall Street SPARROWS POINT, set for Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the historic Pleasant Yacht Club in Turner Station.

RSVP to https://blackwallstreetsparrowspoint.eventbrite.com.

Located at Pleasant Yacht Club, the event brings together entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders for an evening rooted in connection, culture, and economic empowerment.

Turner Station — one of Baltimore County’s most historic Black communities — provides a fitting backdrop. Known for its legacy of self-reliance, institution-building, and leadership, the area has long embodied the spirit of what many recognize as Black Wall Street.

Black Wall Street SPARROWS POINT continues a growing series of convenings across the region, including upcoming stops in New York, Milford Mill, and Woodlawn. Each gathering is designed to highlight Black-owned businesses, foster meaningful relationships, and reinforce the importance of supporting our own.

Attendees can expect high-level networking, inspiring conversations, and a room filled with individuals committed to building stronger communities through ownership and collaboration.

The event will also honor local leaders and changemakers whose work reflects the enduring legacy of Black enterprise.

For over a decade, the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards and related events have recognized thousands of entrepreneurs across multiple cities — reinforcing a simple but powerful idea:

Black Wall Street is not just history. It is happening right now.
