Our guest will be Donna Stevenson.

The show streams LIVE (Monday through Friday) at 9 a.m. EST on Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Who is Donna?

Donna S. Stevenson is a co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Early Morning Software, Inc., a national minority and women-owned Software Research and Development Laboratory. Early Morning Software is the manufacturer of PRISMCompliance.com (PRISM), the nation’s most comprehensive Supplier Diversity, Contract Compliance Management and Economic Inclusion Software-as-a-Service platform. Early Morning Software has a 25+ year history and is also renowned for its software innovations in the Defense Communications, Healthcare, and Government sectors. As an Economic Inclusion industry leader, Donna consults mayors, C-Suite officers, procurement officials, and diversity managers in elevating outcomes in Diversity, Equity, and Economic Inclusion throughout the country.

Under Donna’s leadership, PRISM has grown to be among the world’s most significant economic development and diversity management portals. With PRISMCompliance.com, clients manage billions of dollars in contracts and payments; audits millions of payroll hours by wage, race, gender, and socioeconomic status; facilitate workforce development and affirmative action; and perform compliance for HUD Section 3, US DOT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Airport Concessions DBE (ACDBE), Davis Bacon Certified Payroll and other Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Certification and Inclusion programs.

PRISM was first-to-market with automated market availability, which set contract goals based on anticipated expenditure categories and the availability of diverse firms. This process is pivotal to increasing M/WBE spend and economic inclusion. PRISM software is an enterprise system critical to corporations, governments, housing & transportation authorities, economic development agencies, and construction and healthcare organizations nationally. PRiSM’s effect on the nation’s diverse economy – small, minority, and women-owned businesses – is dramatic. Using the PRISM Compliance Management solution, Donna and the PRISM team transform the management practices of economic inclusion programs and increase contract opportunities for S/M/WBE businesses and equitable job creation.

Donna serves her community as diligently as she transforms supply chains and procurement programs with diversity and inclusion. She founded the National Leadership Team for Economic Inclusion in COVID-19 Economy. Donna is the founder and President of COMPASS Institute for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, a global non-profit organization and conference for DEI leaders. Donna has lectured and consulted with governments throughout the United States, the US Virgin Islands, West and South Africa, and the United Kingdom on topics of diversity and entrepreneurialism are the catalysts to economic growth. She has served on the board of national diversity and compliance associations, such as the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC), American Contract Compliance Association (ACCA), NFBPA National Corporate Council, Mayor’s Advisory Council for Baltimore City and Council of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO).

Donna has received numerous awards recognizing her innovations in Technology and accomplishments in Diversity and Economic Inclusion, such as 2018 Maryland Top 100 Women; Black Caucus Entrepreneur of Year; Top 100 MBE – 2008, 2012, and 2016s; US Department of Transportation Woman-Owned Business of the Year and Baltimore County Government WBE of the Year.

Donna earned a Bachelor’s dual degree in Information Systems Management and Economics and a certificate in Operations Research at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, as well as a Master’s in Business Administration degree at Loyola University of Maryland. She enjoys cycling and boating, and, most of all, she has spent her life with Cecil Robinson, her husband and business partner of 25+ years. She is the proud mother of two children, Cecil and Ciana. She serves the community as a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; The Links Incorporated; New Psalmist Baptist Church; and other organizations.
