(BALTIMORE – April 23, 2024) –  Do tune in to the Wednesday, April 24th edition of the “Doni Glover Show”  at 9:00 a.m. EST. Our special guest is Chad Williams, Executive Director of the West North Avenue Development Authority (WNADA). The Doni Glover Show, hosted by the award-winning BMORENews.com publisher, streams LIVE Monday through Friday at 9 a.m. EST on Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter.

What is WNADA?

The West North Avenue Development Authority in Baltimore City was authorized by Chapters 80 and 81 of 2021. The Authority supports the development and approval of a comprehensive neighborhood revitalization plan in the West North Avenue Development Area and its buffer zone to benefit West Baltimore, the residents, and improve housing, neighborhoods, economic development, and transportation, including motor vehicles and pedestrian foot traffic to catalyst equitable economic development opportunities throughout West Baltimore which has been hindered by historic discrimination.

The Maryland General Assembly established the West North Avenue Development Authority (WNADA), on October 1, 2021, to create a comprehensive plan for housing, economic, transportation, and neighborhood development along West North Avenue between 600 – 3200 Block, defined as the Target Area, and 250 yards surrounding the Target Area, defined as the Buffer Zone.

This plan seeks to advance restorative justice and community development by promoting context-sensitive strategies that enhance housing, public space, mobility, and economic opportunity for West North Avenue.
