Celebrate Kwanzaa at Sankofa Children’s Museum!
Don’t miss out on this vibrant and meaningful celebration.

In just 14 days, the Sankofa Children’s Museum of African Cultures will be hosting our annual Kwanzaa celebration, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! Join us on Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 4 PM to 7 PM at 4330 Pimlico Road, Baltimore, MD 21215 for an unforgettable cultural experience.

Led by Community Leader, Mr. Charlie Dugger, this festive event will be filled with:

  • Cultural performances, music, and spoken word
  • Traditional African cuisine
  • Vendors
  • Art & crafts
  • And so much more!

You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about the seven principles of Kwanzaa, and experience the power of unity, community, and joy. It’s a perfect event for families—admission for adults is just $7, and children get in free.

Important Notes:

  • Registration is required to attend.
  • We are also collecting new and gently used winter accessories (hats, gloves, scarves) for families in need. Drop off donations at the museum during our operating hours (Wednesdays-Saturdays, 11 AM–6 PM) or bring them with you to the Kwanzaa event.

Don’t miss out on this vibrant and meaningful celebration. Register today and bring your family to discover the beauty of African culture this Kwanzaa season.

We look forward to celebrating with you at Sankofa!

Warm regards,
The Sankofa Children’s Museum Team
