BLACK WALL STREET WOODLAWN — 2026 HONOREE PROFILE
From a 9-to-5 to multiple LLCs, Kizzy Dawkins turned a leap of faith into a full life of purpose — one pour, one property, one person at a time.
(BALTIMORE – May 30, 2026) — There is a moment in every entrepreneur’s story where the comfort of a steady paycheck goes up against the pull of something bigger. Most people stay put. Kizzy Dawkins walked away.
That decision — bold, deliberate, and rooted in faith — set in motion more than 13 years of building a career and brand in the bartending and hospitality industry, now spanning multiple businesses, two properties, and a growing legacy of community service.
Hard work. Consistency. Passion. Those are the three words Dawkins lives by — and the evidence is in everything she has built.
After making the leap to full-time entrepreneurship, Dawkins launched several LLCs focused on hospitality, bartending services, and consulting. Today, she manages a sports bar, bartends at private events and parties, and provides bartending consulting services to clients who want the same level of excellence she brings to every event she touches.
She has also built a real estate portfolio, purchasing and renting out two properties — a reminder that true entrepreneurship is not just about what you do, but about what you own.
That’s the Black Wall Street spirit in action.
But what sets Kizzy Dawkins apart is not just her business portfolio — it is her heart.
In addition to her hospitality enterprises, Dawkins launched a cleaning company dedicated specifically to assisting elderly residents in senior buildings who cannot provide those services for themselves. In a city where too many of our elders are overlooked, she saw a need and built a business around filling it — turning service into sustainability.
That is not a side project. That is a calling.
Kizzy Dawkins’ journey has been about creating opportunities, serving people, and showing others that with faith, determination, and consistency, you can turn your passion into purpose. She has not just preached that message — she has lived it, built it, and proved it.
That is why BMORENews.com and the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards are proud to honor her at Black Wall Street WOODLAWN.
This award is for a woman who bet on herself — and won.
An entrepreneur. A servant. A builder.
Congratulations, Kizzy Dawkins.
