POWER COUPLE: Jake Oliver and Barbara Blount Armstrong to be Honored at "Black Press Matters", Dec. 10th

(BALTIMORE – December 2, 2022) – It is with great pleasure that BMORENews.com announces that Jake Oliver and Barbara Blount Armstrong are among the honorees at “Black Press Matters”, a 20th-anniversary celebration for our news organization scheduled for December 10th from 3 to 5 pm at Nancy by SNAC (131 W. North Avenue).

Oliver and Armstrong are two icons in the City of Baltimore with long track records of excellence. Oliver’s work at the Afro-American Newspapers alone makes him unique. Armstrong’s legacy at Morgan State University and Associated Black Charities is exemplary. To boot, she has always brought class and dignity wherever she goes.
