(RANDALLSTOWN – February 21, 2026) – Get ready, Baltimore County — Black Wall Street is coming to Milford Mill, and it’s going to be a night to remember.

On Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 6 to 8 pm, BMORENews.com and the Doni Glover Show invite the community to gather at Island Quizine, 8128 Liberty Road at Milford Mill Road, for an electrifying evening of entrepreneurship, excellence, and celebration. The event will feature the prestigious Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards, recognizing the outstanding business leaders and community champions who are building generational wealth and uplifting underrepresented communities right here in the Baltimore corridor.

The Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards program has honored more than 3,000 individuals across nine major cities since 2011, and Milford Mill is next in line to shine.

Adding to the excitement, G. Grant Griffin Media will be on hand to capture a LIVE edition of The Doni Glover TV Show — the long-running program that has been a trusted platform for authentic storytelling from Baltimore’s most dynamic voices.

The evening will be hosted at one of Baltimore’s true entrepreneurial success stories. Donovan Murphy — owner, chief operator, and community champion — has built Island Quizine Restaurant and Catering into a powerhouse brand with seven locations across the Baltimore/DC corridor, including IQ Bar and Grill, and a thriving catering operation. That is not an accident. That is vision, discipline, and relentless hard work on full display.

The CIAA is coming Feb. 24-28, 2026! Get your tickets now!

But what makes Donovan’s story even more powerful is what he does beyond the kitchen. He has been a consistent force for good in the community — feeding the homeless, supporting local schools, partnering with churches, and extending a hand to facilities like Divine Light that serve those battling substance abuse. Donovan Murphy isn’t just building a business. He’s building a better Greater Baltimore.

Donovan Murphy, Owner, Island Quizine Restaurants

Island Quizine brings authentic Jamaican culture to the table — from signature jerk chicken to savory oxtail — crafted with the freshest ingredients and the kind of traditional recipes that make every meal feel like a celebration.

Come out and show love to a man who has earned every bit of his shine. Come out and celebrate Black Wall Street.
