Black Wall Street 15th Anniversary Season

(BALTIMORE – April 12, 2026) — This didn’t start in April.

This started at the top of the year — with intention.

On January 3, BMORENews.com launched the 2026 season with the New Year Summit at the Downtown Cultural Arts Center in Baltimore — anchored by a powerful keynote from Robyn Murphy and rooted in the enduring legacy of Maggie Lena Walker.

It was a signal.

This year would be different.

This year would be about ownership, alignment, and building something that lasts.

Laying the Foundation

On February 24, the movement expanded to Southern Maryland, where Black Wall Street convened at the University System of Maryland at Southern Maryland in California, Maryland.

The program was dedicated to Doris Cammack Spencer — a quiet giant whose work continues to impact generations — and featured 13 honorees representing a cross-section of leadership, service, and enterprise.

Different region.

Same mission.

Momentum Builds in Baltimore County

By March 12, Black Wall Street returned home with MILFORD MILL — bringing together entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders committed to economic empowerment.

The response was clear.

So we did it again.

On April 11, MILFORD MILL 2.0 at Island Quizine confirmed what many already knew: when you create space for Black excellence, the community shows up.

And when the community shows up, you build.

Taking It National

On April 14, Black Wall Street heads to New York City for CHELSEA, hosted at 135 W. 20th Street, Suite 302.

This is more than a change of location.

This is expansion.

From Baltimore to one of the most influential cities in the world, the mission remains the same — to recognize, connect, and elevate those doing the work.

Back to Baltimore — Building Legacy

On April 26, the movement returns home for BENEDETTO 2.0 — celebrating 25 years of Kevin Scott and the official grand opening of Benedetto Haberdashery at 119 W. Mulberry Street.

It’s a milestone moment.

Not just for Scott.

But for what it represents: longevity, ownership, and the power of staying the course.

The Road Ahead

And we’re not stopping.

The 2026 season continues with:

  • SPARROWS POINT — May 9 at Pleasant Yacht Club
  • JODY DAVIS DESIGNS 15th Anniversary — May 23 at 10 W. Saratoga Street
  • WOODLAWN — June 4 at 6665 Security Boulevard

Each location.

Each room.

Each honoree.

All part of a larger strategy — to build an ecosystem where Black business, leadership, and excellence are not the exception, but the expectation.

A Homecoming 15 Years in the Making

Then comes a full-circle moment.

On June 16, Black Wall Street returns to Washington, D.C., for a homecoming at Busboys and Poets — the very place where this movement began 15 years ago.

What started as an idea has now become a multi-city platform.

What began as a gathering has become infrastructure.

More Than Events

Let’s be clear.

This is not just a series of events.

This is not just recognition.

This is strategy.

This is alignment.

This is ecosystem-building in real time.

From Baltimore to Southern Maryland, from New York to Washington, D.C., Black Wall Street is doing what it has always done:

Showing up.

Lifting others.

And building something bigger than any one person, place, or moment.

The Bottom Line

Black Wall Street is not a moment.

It’s a mission.

And in 2026, it’s moving. Many thanks to Robert Harrington and all those who have supported our efforts over this 15-year journey.
