Black Wall Street WOODLAWN 2026

(BALTIMORE COUNTY – April 7, 2026) — The mission continues.

On Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m., Black Wall Street WOODLAWN brings together entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders who are building, investing, and creating opportunity across Baltimore County’s west side.

First, I have to thank our host, Andre Boyd, for the opportunity to showcase his facility at 6665 Security Boulevard. Alongside his wife, Boyd has invested significant time, money, and energy into creating a space capable of hosting upwards of 200 people—a true asset for the community.

A member of the Boyd family basketball legacy—and the brother of my childhood friend and classmate—Andre Boyd understands discipline, excellence, and performance. Today, he applies those same principles to business, serving clients and building something meaningful.

And throughout Woodlawn—from Woodlawn Drive to Gwynn Oak—he is far from alone.

There are countless entrepreneurs and small business owners putting in the work every single day.

Let’s be clear: running a business is no small feat.

It is taxing.
It is demanding.
It is sacrifice.

You are hustling while others sleep.
You are working while others vacation.
You are managing paperwork, taxes, and responsibilities while others are at ease.

That’s the cost of ownership.

And if you want more out of your business, you must invest in it—your time, your study, your growth, and your willingness to ask for help.

On June 4th, we continue our mission of celebrating Black entrepreneurs and professionals—as well as those who support them—while strengthening networks, visibility, and economic power.

This is not just an event.

This is Black Wall Street in action.
