(BALTIMORE, MD – February 23, 2026) — Attorney Warren A. Brown was born into an America that had yet to fully open its social, economic, educational, and political institutions to African Americans. It was a time when Black presidents, Black CEOs, Black Miss Americas — even Black prosecutors and judges in significant numbers — were difficult to imagine.

Yet he imagined more.

And then he built it.

On Thursday, February 26, 2026, Warren A. Brown, Esq., principal of The Law Offices of Warren A. Brown, P.A., will be honored at Black Wall Street at Benedetto, presented by BMORENews.com and DMGlobal Marketing & Public Relations, LLC.

A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University (1974) and Boston University School of Law (1977), Brown entered the legal profession not for prestige or profit, but with a singular purpose: to fight for the weak and claim membership in what he calls “the most noble profession.”

He began his legal career at Memphis Area Legal Services under A.C. Wharton, now former mayor of Memphis. Returning home to Baltimore in 1980, Brown served with the Legal Aid Bureau, the Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City, and later the Federal Public Defender’s Office before opening his own criminal defense practice in 1988.

Since then, Brown has tried state and federal cases across Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, and Delaware — serving as lead counsel in thousands of criminal matters over more than three decades.

An accomplished trial attorney, Brown approaches trial work as an art form — meticulous, strategic, and deeply prepared. His guiding philosophy remains clear:

“The truth, poorly represented, will lose.”

That belief has defined his career.

Recognized by the Maryland General Assembly for “Defending the Constitution and Protecting the Rights of the Accused,” Brown has built a reputation as one of Baltimore’s most formidable criminal defense attorneys. His practice combines aggressive advocacy with a personal commitment to protecting the rights of those who often feel powerless within the justice system.

Black Wall Street has always been about more than commerce. It is about ownership, influence, and institutional presence. For decades, Warren A. Brown has embodied that presence inside courtrooms across this region — asserting constitutional rights and standing firm in defense of due process.

On Thursday evening at Benedetto Haberdashery, the Black Wall Street community will recognize a man who has dedicated his life to ensuring that justice is not merely promised — but properly represented.

Congratulations to Attorney Warren A. Brown, Esq., on this well-deserved honor.
