About

BmoreNews.com is an online news outlet based in Baltimore, MD established in 2002. Yes, this is our 20th Anniversary year. We primarily cover news and developments from an African American/Black perspective. Our focus is on: public education, Black business, ex-offender services/returning citizens, affordable housing, and universal access to health care.

In addition to written articles and photographs, BmoreNews has a YouTube.com/doniglover channel with over 5,000 news clips featuring original content. This is one of the largest Black news video libraries in the US, if not the world and dates back to 2008.

We’ve covered news also in other states, in Jordan (Sept. 2002) as US landed in Jordan to invade Iraq, in Ethiopia during an election in 2006, in Tanzania in 2006, Canada, and Jamaica.

BmoreNews.com is well known for its Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards where we celebrate Black entrepreneurs and professionals as well as the people who support them regardless of race. To date, we have honored over 1,900 individuals in New York, Baltimore, Washington DC, Richmond, Atlanta, New Orleans, Birmingham, Las Vegas, and Tulsa (home of the most famous Black Wall Street that was bombed and destroyed 101 years ago.)

I should also mention that in 2020, we launched a second website as streaming became a go-to amidst the pandemic. Hence, we launched BlackUSA.News and this year we also launched ThePrinceGeorgian.com for Prince George’s County, Maryland. Where ThePrinceGeorgian.com mirrors BmoreNews, BlackUSA.News is the website home for our 25 or so shows with hosts from from 7 US cities. We stream 7 days a week. We cover much the same stuff as always: politics, business, community – a dash of entertainment.

In Baltimore, Afro.com and BTimesOnline.com cover the Black community, also. We also have the Baltimore Banner and the Baltimore Sun. My goal for our brands is always to celebrate them in the best way possible. It took me a while to get here; but, we made it!
