What is BMORENews.com?
BMORENews.com

(BALTIMORE – January 20, 2023) – BMORENews.com is a Baltimore-based news website created by DMGlobal Marketing & Public Relations, LLC on August 9, 2002.

Our primary objective is to tell the news from a Black perspective, one often omitted or told inadequately by the mainstream media.

BMORENews has told this story from the streets of East Baltimore to Southeast DC to the White House to East Africa and the Middle East. We have covered news on the ground in Ethiopia during the turbulent ’06 national elections, Tanzania, Jordan in September ’02 as US troops were landing there to invade neighboring Iraq, Jamaica, and Canada.

Nobody covers Baltimore’s Black community better than BMORENews. From politics to community, we have the largest Black news video library in Maryland: https://youtube.com/doniglover.

We have garnered as many as a million hits per month over our 20-year tenure from over 190 nations worldwide.

We dig in to find out the real reasons behind a story often not discovered by mainstream media.

We consistently respond to calls for assistance from the community, including those in perilous situations and those behind the walls.

We are the only news outlet to have a prison ministry serving 14-17-year-olds who were charged as adults at the former Baltimore City Jail.

We are the only news outlet to repeatedly report on the investigation of the suspect killings of noted Black contractor Robert Lee Clay, former Baltimore City Councilman Kenneth N. Harris, Detective Sean Suiter, and 21-year-old entrepreneur Destiny Harrison.

And, for the record, we are the only news outlet in the MD-DC region to correctly predict the last four governors of the State of Maryland (2002-2022).

Further, we specialize in covering issues surrounding Black business, a staple of our publication. For instance, we ask all politicians what they are going to do to help create new Black millionaires. We understand that politics must parlay into economic benefit. This is particularly poignant in a 63% Black city and a 30% Black state.

Along those same lines, public education in Baltimore City and Prince George’s County is a regular topic, especially given that these two majority-Black school jurisdictions are repeatedly at the bottom of the state.

BMORENews and its partners also share national Black Wall Street history and inspire entrepreneurship via the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards. Since 2011, we have honored over 2,000 honorees in 9 US cities: New York, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Richmond, Atlanta, New Orleans, Birmingham, Las Vegas, and Tulsa. In the process, our events have provided exposure to countless Black entrepreneurs and business owners and we have helped better connect these individuals with other like-minded business people where new deals and transactions occur as a result.

Our latest expansion occurred in December 2020 when we launched BlackUSA.News, our sister network that features LIVE streaming shows with hosts from New York, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and Oakland. As COVID transformed how everything works, this streaming platform became our pivot. In the process, we grew our network exponentially both nationally and internationally.
